Link Market Services Limited (Link) today announced that it has joined forces with Patersons Securities Limited (Patersons) in Perth to offer a refreshing new alternative to issuers in Western Australia.
Link’s move West follows a number of successful acquisitions onshore and offshore. In April 2004, Link purchased the registry services business of Pitcher Partners Queensland. In October 2005 Link acquired the Australian employee share services business of Mellon HR & IS. It then entered the New Zealand market in January 2005 with joint venture partner New Zealand Exchange Limited.

Link and Patersons have entered a formal agreement that will see Link leverage Patersons local presence, reputation and knowledge. For Patersons, the deal enables it to broaden its product offering.
