Link in the community
Link Market Services is actively involved within the community through our CommunityLink program. The CommunityLink program was established last year in order to help staff support a number of different charities and make a difference to the lives of others. The charities we support are:
 | McGrath FoundationThe McGrath Foundation is proudly supported by Link Market Services Limited (Link). You can support Link by becoming a member of our Investor Service Centre and choose to receive all your investment communications (where applicable) by email rather than post. The McGrath Foundation gives funding for breast care nurses on a national basis and provides greater public awareness of breast cancer, particularly amongst younger women.  | Mission AustraliaMission Australia is one of Australia’s leading community service organisations with a focus on helping families and children, young people, homeless people, communities and providing employment services. The underlying focus of Mission Australia’s work is to help individuals and communities strengthen and increase their capacity to help themselves.

 | The Cancer CouncilAlmost one in every three Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 75. The Cancer Council Australia and its members are dedicated to providing support for cancer patients, people living with cancer, their families and carers.

 | Garvan InstituteThe Garvan Institute is focused on understanding the role of genes in health and disease. Research emphasis is on cancer – in particular breast and prostate cancer. Garvan also researches many areas such as diabetes and obesity; osteoporosis; Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, schizophrenia and manic depression; asthma; arthritis; and pituitary disorders.

 | NAPCANNational Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (NAPCAN) seeks to resource and network child welfare professionals and practitioners working to prevent child abuse and neglect from happening before it starts, through the provision of tools, resources, support networks and information. NAPCAN was founded in 1987 to establish lines of communication between government departments and agencies, professionals and community groups working in child protection.

 | Starlight FoundationThe Starlight Foundation’s mission is to brighten the lives of all seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families in Australia through our hospital entertainment, wish-granting, online programs and special events. We strive to bring a touch of magic into the life of sick children.

 | Social Ventures AustraliaSocial Ventures Australia (SVA) is a non-profit organisation established in 2002 by The Benevolent Society, The Smith Family, WorkVentures and the AMP Foundation. Their vision is to enhance Australia’s social fabric by developing innovative and entrepreneurial social programs into sustainable, high impact social ventures. SVA does this by working with innovative non-profit organisations to increase their growth and impact to drive transformational social change. Link continues to provide pro bono support to SVA in the form of print, mailing and contact centre services. Link has most recently provided assistance to SVA during a capital raising and will look to continue supporting SVA in other ways into the future. |
