Link in the community

Link Market Services is actively involved within the community through our CommunityLink program. The CommunityLink program was established last year in order to help staff support a number of different charities and make a difference to the lives of others. The charities we support are:

Mission Australia Mission Australia is one of Australia’s leading community service organisations with a focus on helping families and children, young people, homeless people, communities and providing employment services. The underlying focus of Mission Australia’s work is to help individuals and communities strengthen and increase their capacity to help themselves.

The Cancer Council Almost one in every three Australians will be diagnosed with cancer by the age of 75. The Cancer Council Australia and its members are dedicated to providing support for cancer patients, people living with cancer, their families and carers.

Garvin Institute The Garvan Institute is focused on understanding the role of genes in health and disease. Research emphasis is on cancer – in particular breast and prostate cancer. Garvan also researches many areas such as diabetes and obesity; osteoporosis; Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, schizophrenia and manic depression; asthma; arthritis; and pituitary disorders.

NAPCAN National Association for Prevention of Child Abuse and Neglect (NAPCAN) seeks to resource and network child welfare professionals and practitioners working to prevent child abuse and neglect from happening before it starts, through the provision of tools, resources, support networks and information. NAPCAN was founded in 1987 to establish lines of communication between government departments and agencies, professionals and community groups working in child protection.

Starlight Foundation The Starlight Foundation’s mission is to brighten the lives of all seriously ill and hospitalised children and their families in Australia through our hospital entertainment, wish-granting, online programs and special events. We strive to bring a touch of magic into the life of sick children.
