Pacific Equity Partners Limited (PEP) portfolio. PEP acquired Link from former joint venture partners Australian Stock Exchange Limited (ASX) and Perpetual Trustees Australia Limited (Perpetual) and is a leading Australasian private equity firm focusing on buyouts and late stage expansion capital.
Over the past three years Link has continued to focus on it’s global growth strategy. In 2005 Link joined forces with New Zealand Exchange Limited (NZX) to establish Link NZ. In 2006 Link entered the South African market acquiring a majority holding in the country’s second largest share registry, Ultra Registrars (Pty) Limited (Ultra).
Link offers a variety of high quality services to its client base including Employee Share Services, Company Secretarial, Quantitative Analysis, Meetings (Convene) and Telephone Campaigns (Insight). In addition, Link expanded its offering by the purchase of Orient Capital (Australia’s market leading Investor Relations Services provider) and Corporate File (which provides advisory, investor relations and Open Briefing® services).
In 2006 Link also purchased Australian Administration Services Group (AAS), one of Australia’s leading superannuation administration specialists, which operates on behalf of almost 300,000 employers with in excess of 4 million members. In June 2007 Link purchased Primary Superannuation Services based in Melbourne.
